RAMIN KARIMLOO AT THE OLIVER AWARDS

Ramin Karimloo represented Love Never Dies at The Oliver Awards this year performing Mr.Y's main theme, Till I Hear You Sing. We share with you the video so you can enjoy his performance! WEST END CAST CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

Love Never Dies has been recently nominated in 7 main categories for the Laurence Olivier Awards 2011: Best acting in a supporting role (Summer Strallen), Best lighting design, Best scenography and Best Costume Design. It also received two WhatsOnStage.com awards, where Ramin Karimloo won as Best Actor in a musical and Joseph Millson won as Best Supporting Role in a Musical. After de redirection and the new show changes, Love Never Dies announces its new cast.

Love Never Dies tickets can be preordered until January 2012. The new cast premiere will be on March 7th at the Adelphi Theatre.

Ramin Karimloo will keep playing the part as The Phantom, with Tam Mutu as understudy. / Celia Graham will play Sierra Boggess' role as Christine, nominated as Best actress in a  musical and current Sierra Boggess' understudy. / David Thaxton, also named as Best Actor in a Musical (Passion), will plat Joseph Millson's role as Raoul. / Liz Robertson will keep playing the part as Madame Giry.  / Haley Flaherty will join as Meg, playing Summer Strallen's role. / Adam Pearce will keep playing the part as Squelch. / Tracey Penn will join as Fleck. / Charles Brunton will play Gangle. / Jack Costello, Daniel Dowling and Harry Polden will keep sharing the part of Gustave.

Love Never Dies ha sido recientemente nominada en 7 categorías principales para los Laurence Olivier Awards 2011, entre ellos: Mejor actuación en un papel secundario (Summer Strallen), Mejor diseño de iluminación, Mejor escenografía y Mejor diseño de vestuario. Ha resultado ganadora de dos premios WhatsOnStage.com, dónde Ramin Karimloo ganó como Mejor Actor en un Musical y Joseph Millson ganó como Mejor Actor de Reparto en un Musical. Después de la redirección y de los nuevos cambios del show, Love Never Dies anuncia su nuevo cast.

Las entradas de Love Never Dies ya se pueden reservar hasta Enero de 2012. El estreno del nuevo reparto será el 7 de Marzo en el Teatro Adelphi.

NEW COMMERCIAL & INTERVIEWS

The official youtube channel LoveNeverDiesAu has shared four new videos. The first one is a TV commercial to promote Love Never Dies. In the next two videos, we meet Anna O'Byrne and Ben Lewis introducing themselves and their characters. In the last video, Love Never Dies director's Simon Phillips asks for children with "exceptional beauty and angelical voice." If you know someone under that profile, ¡he wants him to make an audition! The casting will be held on the 26th and 27th on this month in Melbourne.

LOVE NEVER DIES FINDS LEADING CAST FOR AUSTRALIAN PRODUCTION

After a long casting process involving more than 900 artists and performers, the roles of The Phantom and Christine in the new Australian production of Love Never Dies have finally been cast. Andrew Lloyd Webber, who spoke from London in the Melbourne cast announcement on January 31, said excitedly how close the Australian production was, and was delighted to introduce Ben Lewis as The Phantom and Anna O'Byrne as Christine.

They performed Till I Hear You Sing and Love Never Dies during the gala held to announce the new leading cast. The production will premiere at the Regent Theater in Melbourne in May 2011.

LOV ENEVER DIES AT THE FRIDAY NIGHT IS MUSIC NIGHT GALA

Sierra Boggess (Christine) and Tam Mutu (The Phantom) give us an exclusive look backstage to the BBC studios as they get ready to record Friday Night is Music Night, a program that was broadcasted yesterday at 8 p.m. on BBC Radio2.

Tam Mutu started singing Till I Hear You Sing, followed by The Coney Island Waltz instrumental. Sierra sang Look With Your Heart and then both performed Beneath a Moonless Sky and Once Upon Another Time. To end the night, Sierra sang the main theme, Love Never Dies. Sierra Boggess (Christine) y Tam Mutu (The phantom) nos enseñan en exclusiva el backstage de los estudios de la BBC, mientras se preparan para la grabación del programa Friday Night is Music Night que se celebró ayer y fue emitido por la BBC Radio 2 a las 20h00.

Empezó cantando Tam Mutu en su solo Till I Hear You Sing, después del instrumental The Coney Island Waltz, Sierra cantó un breve trozo de Look With Your Heart y seguido los dos cantaron Beneath a Moonless Sky y Once Upon Another Time; para finalizar, Sierra cantó el tema principal Love Never Dies. Esperamos pronto las grabaciones del evento, hasta entonces os dejamos el audio aquí.

FRIDAY NIGHT IS MUSIC NIGHT

Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo will attend together to Friday Night is Music Night on Friday 17th December with BBC Orchestra. The program will be directed by Simon Lee, with a music selection about Masked Men on theatre and cinema. 

The program includes music from Korngold's Robin Hood, Rossini's Guillermo Tell, Verdi and Danny Elfman's Batman and Spiderman. Andrew Lloyd Webber will be there representing The Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies.

UPDATE: It was Tam Mutu, Ramin's cover Phantom, who performed with Sierra Boggess in the event, due to some schedule issues involving Ramin Karimloo.

Sierra Boggess y Ramin Karimloo actuarán juntos en el Friday Night Is Music Night el próximo Viernes 17 de Diciembre en La orquestra de la BBC. El programa está dirigido por Simon Lee, con una selección de música sobre Hombres enmascarados del teatro y el cine.

Broadway World UK Awards results have finally been revealed and Love Never Dies won 9 categories, the musical was nominated to twelve! Sierra Boggess and Joseph Millson almost won in their categories, as best actress in a musical and best-supporting actor. You can read more about it here and here.
