Yes! Today, May 19th, BroadwayWorld.com has published the news of an upcoming Love Never Dies American Tour, during 2017-2018 new season.
We were expecting this news for so long! With every new production, we knew the musical was a step closer to America. The Australian production had a big triumph in Melbourne when it was premiered, such is so that the show was released as a worldwide DVD with an exquisite recording, for the enjoyment of Love Never Dies followers and for those who couldn't make it to the musical. Then the Danish production and the Austrian concerts were premiered, popularizing the musical on different countries. This autumn Love Never Dies will be premiered in Hamburg (read the news here!)
With these successes, small victories for the musical, it's not surprising that Andrew Lloyd Webber wants to reach the American public. And we are lucky enough not just getting a Broadway production but an American Tour, where the musical will be premiered in different American cities. What do you think about the arrival of Mr. Y to America? We are, for sure, way excited.
Update: Andrew Lloyd Webber’s spokesperson Rick Miramontez commented: “There is no official announcement at this time, but after the success of the show in Sydney and Melbourne and subsequent DVD, Andrew Lloyd Webber is delighted by the interest and looks forward to American audiences seeing this Australian production."

¡Sí! Hoy mismo, 19 de Mayo, BroadwayWorld.com publicaba el anuncio de un Tour en América para Love Never Dies, durante la temporada 2017-2018.
Llevamos tiempo esperando esta noticia y ¡después de cada nueva producción sabíamos que estaba más cerca! La producción australiana tuvo un gran éxito en Melbourne, tanto que llegó a distribuirse mundialmente un DVD con una exquisita grabación del musical, para el disfrute de todos los seguidores del musical y para todos aquellos que aún no se habían atrevido o no habían podido ir a verlo en vivo. Surgieron posteriormente la producción Danesa y el concierto en Vienna, que continuaron popularizando el musical en distintos países y este otoño se estrenará en Hamburgo (lee aquí las noticias!).
Con estos éxitos, pequeñas victorias para el musical, no es de sorprender que Andrew Lloyd Webber quiera llegar al público americano y con la suerte del Tour, no sólo a Broadway sino a las distintas ciudades del país. ¿Qué os parece la llegada de Mr. Y a América? Nosotras, sin duda, estamos más que emocionadas.
